Tapak Bumi (TaBu) Village once built through a dream, the dreams to save civilization with design and technology, where the energy using; wind power, the solar energy and wave kinetic’s energy. The economy sustained by north coastal area potency of Banten, and the area is made with activity concept of outside space and interacted with the nature coastal are.
The living management concept at Tapak Bumi Village is similar to transmigration concept. Where we provided land/ space, concepts, and materials. Then everyone can stay and manages the potential at TaBu Village. The main important things that should be implemented at individual who want to live in TaBu Village are patient, sincerely and also willing to live with Eco-Friendly life style.
Taboo Village has ± 4 Hectare areas on fishpond, it’s located in nearby port of Karangantu north coastal area of Kota Serang (Banten’s Bay), around 2 Kilometers north direction of Banten Lama. The landscape consisted of Banten’s Bay, Mangrove Forrest, and milkfish fishponds shore.
At present time we are building a natural library for coastal area children, floating House for the “Pejuang”/ warrior of Eco Village, and also Wind Turbine and Solar Panel for implementation of renewable energy’s concept, and if God willing, we try to install the sea water distillation’s equipment for fresh water (drinking water) which generated using the wind energy.
On the future, TaBu Village is; a sample of eco-friendly village, a place with natural laboratory at seaboard area, a center education and training of Eco Village life style.
On 28th Octobers 2009, when is Sumpah Pemuda day, will be made momentum for grand opening Tapak Bumi Village for public.
